Pre 11plus foundation course for Maths & NVR (Y3)
Our courses for Year 3 helps children prepare for the 11 Plus Exam at a more gradual pace. This program is for the Year 3 children aged 7 to 8 years. It consists of Maths and Non-verbal Reasoning. Children will attend 1 hour a week where they will benefit from lessons done in small groups followed by activities and homework. Starting from September end, the Year 3 tuition will run for eleven months.
The principal focus of this course is to help kids who are in key stage 2 (Year 3) to become increasingly fluent with whole numbers and the four operations, including number facts and the concept of place value, including non-verbal reasoning.
We ensure that the kids develop efficient written and mental methods and perform calculations accurately with increasingly large whole numbers and also develop the skills for non-verbal reasoning.
